I'm so sad to hear of Gerry's passing. I had been trying to locate his whereabouts for years. The last time I saw Gerry was in Boston in 1972, he was playing drums with an accomplished saxaphone player from the area. I will always cherish the fun times we had together in Paris, and then again in Boston. Gerry and I would spend countless hours trying to figure what Tony Williams (Miles Davis) was doing on drums. Something tells me Gerry figured in out. R.I.P. brother.
